My Air Handler System Dilema

Comments

Damn those prescription drugs! I have to take some too and they also make me sleepy so sometimes I do skip doses...and I feel more energetic...Thank you for stopping by yesterday, I just wanted to let you know that your About Me photo is very cute--you look a little like Renee Zellweger!
My dr. told me to take Zyrtec at night, because it has benedryl and might make me drowsy, so maybe doing that or switching to claritin might work. I use flonase spray, too, but the biggest help I've found is to use a neti pot, which is disgusting in theory but has really changed my life--I used to have sinus headaches + upset stomach all the darn time, 3+ times a week, and was popping sudafed like M&Ms, and now I don't.
When I first started taking Zyrtec, I would get really drowsy, but it tapered off after a month or so. Unfortunately, it's the only allergy medicine that works for me and I really need it. I live in the Cedar Fever capitol of the world. I feel your pain, sister.
I'd definately play with the Zyrtec some. Talk with your allergy doc too and see if there is anything else you might try to help with the drowsiness. Maybe like someone else suggested you can take it at night and something else during the day? I know my hubby's got asthma and allergies and suffers a lot this time of year.
Hey, some great ideas here! I took the ol Zyrtec yesterday evening. It was even harder to pry my sorry eyelids open this morning than ever, but hey, I could go to bed earlier... I guess. If I had to. Thanks for the suggestions everyone!
