ooOOOpppsy! I've been FRAMING... silly me!

I am hoping to have my alphabet photography juried into a local gallery and so I’ve framed up some words to give them a feel for how they look so they can pass judgment.

It really is fun to see this sort of thing come together. So take a look and let me know what you think.

It would have been easiest to make all the letters available unframed and people can find their own frames at Target or Michael’s or wherever, then they don’t have to worry about transporting glass (or shipping glass which can be a real nightmare) and such.

LOVE framed

But it’s also great for people to see how nicely they frame up and how the word really begins to show up rather than just a few quirky photographs stuck together. I must be easy to please, but this really has been fun!

my first thought was 'home' for my hallway.
but also thought of 'love' in the kitchen, 'peace' in the lounge and 'joy' in the playroom!!
they would make fabulous gifts too - i bet they'll go down brilliantly.

"HOME" what a great idea! I should make one of those as well. Or maybe change "HOPE" to "HOME." I'll be happy to send photos to anyone interested for $9 each plus the cost of the stamp. If you have a Target in your area, or a Michael's then you can pick out the frame you want and let me know if it's a 4x6 opening or a 5x7 opening and I'll print accordinglly. That way I don't have to ship glass and you don't have to pay more shipping than needed. Maybe I should put these on Etsy or something. Thanks for the encouragement!

you should definitely etsy them. DEFINITELY. i bet they'd go like hotcakes, and you could take commissions for people's names etc. $9 per photo, as in $36 for 'home'...? i'm in the wilds of northern ireland, alas, so i suspect it would cost a packet to ship to me :(

Yeah, $36 for "HOME" unframed. You'd buy your own frame and pop them in so we aren't trying to ship glass.

It's funny how Vox lets me feel like you're just next door when actually you are clear out there. Very interesting how little this living marble earth has become. :) Thanks Vox!
